Winifred J. (Crowe) Goulding, 97, of Dunkirk, passed away peacefully Monday morning, July 7, 2025 at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born at home on February 5, 1928 in Brocton, the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (Parsell) Crowe. 

Winnie spent her early years on the family farm on Bear Lake Road. Her favorite pastime was riding horseback. During her employment years, she worked on the secretarial staffs at Bedford Products, SUNY Fredonia, SUNY Buffalo, and South Buffalo Mercy Hospital Radiology Department. 

She married Ralph Goulding in 1949. They lived in Buffalo until retirement, moving back to Chautauqua County in 1994.

Winnie found joy in gardening, crafting beautiful handmade items, and playing scrabble with family and friends. She also loved laughter and song. 

Winnie is survived by her loving children Diana Goulding, Mark (Kathleen) Goulding, Michael (Audrey) Goulding, and Denise (Paul) Fuhrmann and by her granddaughter Diana Robin (Kevin Walters) Goulding and her step grandson James (Sarah) Keller. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Winnie is preceded in death by her husband Ralph Goulding; brothers Kenneth, Donald, Paul and Harold Crowe; sisters Fern Rundell and Jessie Crowe. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Winnie's memory to the Lakeshore Humane Society; 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, NY, or to a charity of one's choice.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend Graveside Services on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home; 736 Central Ave., Dunkirk, NY.
