Virginia Heavern

Virginia Heavern, 80, of Hamburg, formerly of Silver Creek,

passed away Friday morning September 27, 2024 at home.

She was born in Dunkirk, February 20, 1944, daughter of the

late Samuel and Josephine (Corsoro) Rossotto.

Ginny retired from Silver Creek Schools, where she worked

over 20 years.

She loved time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren,

family vacations also liked reading books and traveling to the casino.

Surviving are her son Samuel (Melissa). Heavern of Hamburg,

grandchildren Samantha and Nolan Heavern, along with several

nieces and nephews survive.

Ginny is preceded by her parents and husband Timothy Heavern,

who died May 21, 2023, a brother Vincent Rossotto and sister

Loretta Bradley.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from

4-7 pm at the McGraw Kowal Funeral Home, 736 Central

Ave, in Dunkirk where funeral services will also be held Friday morning, 

October 4, 2024 at 10 AM with Holly Clark-Porter to officiate.
