Robert J. Pokoj

Robert (Bob) Pokoj, 66 of Dunkirk N.Y., entered into eternal life Nov. 16th, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer and COPD. He is survived by his wife Cheryl; son, Jason Pokoj (Shana); daughter, Aimee Metzger (Matt); and four grandchildren: Adam, Lily, Olivia and Emberlynn. He is also survived by his brother, John Pokoj (Vivian), and sister, Cathy Erick (Tina). Bob had a love for sports, including bowling, softball, disc golf and rooting for the Bills. He was part of a close group of friends known as "The Corner" where they shared countless memories, including their annual Turkey Bowl on Thanksgiving. Bob discovered a new desire for karaoke during his illness and found immense joy while singing and sharing his passion. As per Bob's wishes, no funeral services will be held,

Join us for a Celebration of Life as we honor the life of Bob Pokoj on Aug. 9th, 2-5 pm at Point Gratiot, lower pavilion. We'll share stories, enjoy food and drinks while celebrating Bob, with a special karaoke time from 3- 3:30 pm - just the way he would have loved. All are welcome.
