Robert E. Crawford

Robert E. Crawford passed away October 27, 2025. Born on April 7th, 1936 to the late Edward and Sarah (Bish) Crawford in Cuba, New York. 

Robert leaves behind his loving wife Minnie Buckley Crawford of 64 years. whom he married on November 19, 1960. 

Robert was a farm laborer for Albert VanDette Farms and lived in Cassadaga. He was an avid Yankees and Bills fan. 

Robert is predeceased by his parents Edward and Sarah (Bish) Crawford. Son, David A. Sharp. Brothers Edward H. Crawford Jr., Lester Leon Crawford, Paul G. Crawford, sisters June M. Martin and Audrey L. Stanley. 

Surviving children Robert (Laura Barto) Sharp, Diana Crawford, Karen (Mark) Cannon and former daughter-in-law Ricki Silliman. Grandchildren include Garrett Sharp, Shelley (Joe) Reed,  Lauren (Thomas) Washington. Joshua Stevens, Jason (Amanda) Stevens, Jacqueline (Kate Sheffer) Stevens. Great-grandchildren Hailey Reed, Jasper Reed, Naomi Stevens, Arabellah Warren, Josiah Stevens, and Ryn Washington. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heritage Village for outstanding end of life care, and Hospice of Chautauqua County and Dr. Barnes office of Silver creek, New York. Especially Henrietta Coia who visited often. 

Funeral services will be held in private. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home; 736 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY.
