Peter C. Pellegriti, 62, of Dunkirk passed away at home Saturday May 4, 2024 after a courageous battle against lung cancer. Born on March 28, 1962 in Brooklyn, NY. Son of Agatino Pellegriti and Margaret Pellegriti.

Peter was a proud member of the US Air Force where he served with honor and dedication. His time in the military helped shape his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence that he carried with him throughout his life.

Peter had a passion for cars and worked as a mechanic for many years. Outside of work, Peter found joy in simple pleasures like fishing and camping with his beloved family. He was known for his love of rock music and could often be found enjoying his favorite tunes in his spare time.

Peter will be deeply missed by his surviving family: his devoted wife of 38 years, Lori (Bellis) Pellegriti; stepmother Christina Pellgriti; sons Marc Bellis and Kevin (Laura) Pellegriti; grandchildren Jaxon and Brooklyn; brother Joseph (Linda) Pellegriti; sisters Elisa Pellegriti and Mary Beth Pellegriti; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Peter are his parents Agatino and Margaret (Murry) Pellegriti and his grandparents Dominico and Marie Pellegriti.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
