Patricia M. Piazza

She was born Jan. 18, 1936, in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Lena (Beiger) Pleszewski.

A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Pat was a graduate of Dunkirk High School, class of 1955. Pat and her husband Joe owned and operated Densmore’s in Brocton for 17 years. Pat loved cooking, bird watching, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include one son, Joseph A. (Lisa) Piazza of Dunkirk; two daughters: Jodi (Timothy) Cunningham and Janelle Piazza, both of Dunkirk; four grandchildren: Alissa (Michael) Fioretto, Lauren Cunningham, Payton Simon and Bryan Piazza; five great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Piazza; one grandson, Joseph A. Cole; and nine siblings.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 29, from 4-7 p.m. at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 30, at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 145 E. Main St., Fredonia. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Sheridan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Jude’s or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
