Mary “Mimi” Fesser, 67, went peacefully to be with the Lord after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Mimi was known for her wit and lively personality. She had a sharp sense of humor, often bringing laughter and energy into a room. But what truly defined her was her big heart and unwavering passion for others. Mimi dedicated her career to working as a family advocate, supporting and assisting families through challenging circumstances. Her work reflected her concern for others and her desire to help guide people through life’s difficult moments.
Her sons, Michael (Candis) Fesser and Joseph Till, were the joy of her life, and being a mother is what mattered most to her. Mimi also cherished her role as a grandmother to Landen, Addison, and Bradley Fesser, as well as Christian and Aiden Till, each of whom held a very special place in her heart.
Mimi also shared a close and meaningful bond with her dear friends Rae, Mary, and Carol, whose friendship and presence brought comfort and joy to her life.
Mimi is preceded in death by her father, Paul Till; her step-mother, Sherry Till; and her mother, Judith Norton.
She is survived by her sister, Susan (Daniel) Corsi; her brothers, Paul (Karen) Till, Richard Till, and Michael (Denene) Till; as well as several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mimi will be remembered for her sense of humor, her contagious laugh, and the love she held in her heart. Her memory will remain with those who knew and loved her.
To honor Mimi’s wishes, there will be no funeral services at this time. Arrangements are by R. Michael Mackowiak III; McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home, 736 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made in Mimi's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
