Louis P. Klemann

Louis P. Klemann, affectionately known as "Papa," 87, of Cuba, NY, passed away peacefully Friday morning, October 17, 2025 at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Salamanca, NY on March 30, 1938, he was the son of the late Vincent and Isabell (Gobel) Klemann.

Louis graduated from Randolph High School and went on to serve honorably in the United States Army from 1961-1963. In addition to his military service, Louis was a proud member of the District Union Local One for over 40 years.

Louis' character was defined by his unwavering commitment to those he loved; he was a great father, brother, and friend to many.

Surviving Louis includes his loving children, Kimberly, Kevin and Chis (April Crisafulli) Klemann; grandchildren Joshua (Samantha Faryna) Klemann, Scott and Nellie Klemann; great-grandchildren Travis and Owen Klemann; siblings Kay (late Tom) Kelleher, Nancy (late Terry) Paoli, Daniel and Mark Klemann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Louis is preceded in death by his siblings Mary Kohler, James Klemann, Joan Manna, and Robert Klemann.

Funeral services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home; 736 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY.
