Jacen J. Weinkertz

He was born April 24, 1995 in Dunkirk, the son of Kimberly M. Karlstrom and Johnnie Karlstrom (stepfather).

A lifelong resident of the area, Jacen graduated from Fredonia High School. He had been employed as a steelworker at Allied Universal in Dunkirk.

Jacen enjoyed many activities such as BMX riding, hiking, and hammock by the creek. He loved being outdoors and on a new adventure.

Survivors include his mother, Kimberly M. Karlstrom and Johnnie Karlstrom; brother, “B” Brandon Tate; grandparents; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 10659 South Roberts Road, Fredonia. Pastor Patrick Burke will officiate.
