Harold E. Flory

Harold E. Flory, 88, of Dunkirk, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Born in Dunkirk on April 24, 1938, he was the son of the late William and Elsie (Washington) Flory.

Harold graduated from Dunkirk High School, where he enjoyed playing basketball and football. He went on to work for over 25 years in the shipping department at Allegheny Ludlum in Dunkirk.

Harold was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Dunkirk, where his faith was an important part of his life.

Surviving Harold includes his sister Elaine Niles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his siblings Aleatha DeRider, Wilma Benjamen, Betty Flory, Bill and Corine Flory.

Funeral services were held in private at the convenience of the family. Interment was held privately in Forest Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by R. Michael Mackowiak III; McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home, 736 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY.
