Father Thomas J. Wopperer
Father Thomas J. Wopperer, 85, died Monday morning (Aug. 21, 2023) at Brothers of Mercy Campus in Clarence, NY. He was the former pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Dunkirk for nearly 20 years.
Father Wopperer will lie in state at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 328 Washington Avenue in Dunkirk on Friday, August 25, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Dunkirk of Saturday, August 26, at 11:00 AM. He will be interred at Assumption Mausoleum at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dunkirk. Memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Dunkirk.
Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home, Dunkirk.
