Edwin C. Wilson

Although Edwin resided in Erie, Pa. for a short time before his death, he was a longtime resident of Dunkirk, NY for most of his life where he attended the Dunkirk City School District and was employed at Dunkirk Ice Cream in earlier years.

Edwin was full of life. Full of love and loved his family to no end. He lived life quietly, moved silently and Loved Out Loud! Everyone who knew him, knew the love he had for his family was true and unconditional. The strong bond he shared with his mother was like no other. He enjoyed his music, reading, making us laugh and had recently gotten in touch with his spiritual side. He had a beautiful smile that was not only infectious, but would light up any room. He adored his children and had a heart that was none other than forgiving and selfless.

Edwin is survived by his children Makahyla Wilson, Kayin Odebralski, Raelynn Wilson, Nyasia Odebralski, Aria Wilson, Avilla Wilson, Aniyas Wilson and Damienn Wilson. His parents, Ruth Boyd and Everett Wilson, and his siblings, Charlene Wilson, Edward Wilson, Charlotta Wilson, Janie Wilson, Cerena Wilson, Ashley Boyd, Brenda Lewis, Timothy Wilson, Vonetta Thomas and Christopher Thomas in addition to several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles.

Edwin is preceded in death by his grandparents, sister, Rhonda Wilson, and brother, Everett “Mike” Granville Wilson III.

Edwin will be sadly missed today, tomorrow, and always by all who knew and loved him.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, Feb. 18, at 4-7 p.m. at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home in Dunkirk.
