Dawn M. Johnson

Dawn Michele (Wetsel) Johnson, 62, passed away on April 22, 2026. She was born on July 6, 1963.

At the time of her passing, Dawn was living in Lakewood, New York, and had previously resided for many years in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She will be remembered for her love of family and the joy she found in spending time with those closest to her.

Dawn is survived by her father and stepmother, Richard and Donna Wetsel of Brocton, New York; her sister, Kelli (Jim) Dexter of Vermont; her brother, Rick Wetsel; and her longtime friend of 22 years, Tammy Clark of Youngsville, Pennsylvania.

She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews: Christina Burgess, Nicole (Chris) Burt, Aaron Sprague, Danielle (Daniel) Lowder, Joshua Wetsel, Allyssa (Coty) Chitko, Matthew (Jeanette) Wetsel, and Jacob (Jordan) Wetsel; as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews: LeeAnn Wooley, Bryson Kelley, Abigail Kelley, Nathan Haley, Alivia Sprague, Daniel (PJ) Lowder, Bryson Hiaring, Adrianna Chitko, Chole Wetsel, Ryan Phipps, Aila Phipps, and Nina Wetsel.

Dawn was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Roberta (Kuhlman) Swanson and John Swanson.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
