Born on December 22,1955 in Dunkirk to the late Floyd Willis and
Marguerite (Leone) Snyder.
Dan graduated from Dunkirk High School in
career, Dan worked at various local companies such
as GE in Erie, Cliffstar, Job Corp, and most recently
the Dunkirk Observer.
Daniel found true joy in spending quality time
with his family. He cherished moments with his
grandchildren and took immense pride in watching
them play sports - a testament to his unwavering
support and love for his family.
Known for his quick wit and good sense of
humor, Daniel brightened the lives of those around
him with his infectious laughter and clever comebacks.
In his leisure time, Dan found joy in various
hobbies such as being an avid Cleveland Browns
fan, tending to his garden, solving puzzles, listening
to the Rolling Stones, and cruising around in his
lives of those who knew him.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 15 years,
Karen Ott Willis; children Carrie (Nick) Willis,
Daniel (Kristina) Willis Jr., Matthew (Jill) Pacos,
Nicholas Pacos, Kenneth (Holly) Pacos; siblings
Marie (Joe) Skubis, twin brother Donald (Barb)
Willis, and David (Toni) Willis; grandchildren
Donielle, Mick, Tess, Brianna , Aaliyah , Madison ,
Rowan; great-grandchildren Yaritza , Amier , Micah
; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Floyd
"Buzz" Willis; mother Marguerite (Leone) Snyder;
step-father William Snyder; and grandson Bryan Willis.
hours on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 3-6 p.m. at
McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Funeral Services
will be held the following day Saturday, April 13,
2024 from 10-12 p.m. with Prayer services starting
at 11 a.m. at McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
