Christine Erick

She was born Dec. 27, 1945 in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Frank and Florence (Chojnacki) Politowski.

A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Christine was a graduate of Dunkirk High School, Class of 1963.

Survivors include her husband, Phillip L. Erick, whom she married Feb. 6, 1971; four children, Sharon (Brian) Dadswell of Arcadia, NY, Phillip Jr. (Pamela) Erick of Silver Creek, Kimberly (David) Sponseller of Portsmouth, VA, and Thomas (Aleasha) Erick of Dundee, NY; two sisters, Marion Newton of Philadelphia, PA and Joan (late Norman) Vicari of Dunkirk; many grandchildren; one great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Allen Politowski.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
