Carmen Torres Hernandez

Carmen M. Torres Hernandez, 80, of Dunkirk, passed away peacefully Friday evening, October 23, 2026. She was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico on December 2, 1945, she was the daughter Ramon Torres and Edith Hernandez.

Carmen was a school Teacher at S.U. Federico Degetau in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico for many years until her retirement.

She had a love for flowers and always enjoyed having a fresh bouquet in her home, bringing beauty and warmth to her surroundings.

There was nothing Carmen enjoyed more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carmen is survived by her loving children Ted (Lourdes Zayas), Mayra (Andres Colon) Berrios, Ramon Berrios, and Carmen Rosa Berrios and her grandchildren  Christian, Valeria, Angel, Angelica, Diane, Angelys, Rafael, Ariana, Patricia, Ted Kenner, and Jordanalys.
