Beth A. Furman

Beth A. (Walsh) Furman, 88, of Dunkirk, passed away Thursday evening, September 4, 2025 at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center in Dunkirk. Beth was born in Brocton, NY to Marion and Kenneth Walsh. She resided there at her home until she married her husband, Donald in February of 1955.

She attended Jamestown Business college where she earned a degree which allowed her to work at Alco.

Upon the birth of her three children James, Donald, and Wendy. Beth became a stay at home mom to raise her children as she was a very dedicated mother. After raising her children, she went on to work at the Chautauqua County Home.

Surviving family members are her sons, James and Donald, a daughter Wendy, and grandchildren Cassidy, Dalton, John and Alex.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Chautauqua County Animal Services.

Funeral services will be held in private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home; 736 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY.
