Barbara E. (Kopliner) Peck, 82, of Dunkirk, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026. Born in Dunkirk on November 19, 1943, she was the wife of the late Stephen Peck and daughter of the late Clemens and Rose (Negro) Kopliner.


Barbara was a graduate of Dunkirk High School and furthered her education at the Rochester Business Institute. These foundations led her into a commendable career where she first worked at M&T Bank. Alongside her husband, Stephen, she co-owned Hero Cycle Center. Ultimately, Barbara retired from Brooks Memorial Hospital, concluding a career defined by hard work and service.


Known for her very friendly nature, Barbara’s presence was a source of joy and encouragement, as she was always positive and happy. Barbara cherished spending time with her friends, particularly enjoying outings to the casino.


Memberships include the Moniuszko Club, First Ward Falcon Club and the Elks Lodge 922. She was also a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church.


Surviving Barbara includes her son Warren (Liliana) Peck; grandchildren Logan and Hayden Peck; brother Frank (Philomena) Kopliner, and nieces Kate (Edward) and Keri Kopliner.


In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her son Michael Peck.


Relatives and friends are welcome to attend A Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday June 6, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church; 1032 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY. Interment will be held in private.
