April G. Hill

April G. (DiLorenzo) Hill, 76, passed away on June 16, 2026 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Evelyn DiLorenzo.

April was a graduate of Dunkirk High School, class of 1968. She waitressed at Demetri’s On The Lake and other dining establishments in the local area.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and watching the Buffalo Bills football team.

She is survived by her loving children Timothy (Cynthia) Brown, Jason Leckliter, and Marilyn Winbush; siblings Nicholas (Julianne) DiLorenzo, Toni Rae (Jeffrey) Benedict, Amy (Louie) DiPietro, Tracy Briggs; grandchildren Zachary Leckliter, Haleigh Leckliter, Gavin Leckliter, Erica Frasier, Thelron Winbush, Celie Brown, and 6 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Evelyn and her siblings Marilyn and Michael DiLorenzo, Penny (Tim) Pilarski, Robin (Don) Winder Cynthia Bielat (John Hunt) , Kathleen (Jim) Quick, and Jeanenne (Dave) Gizowski.

There will be no visitation. Interment was held privately in Willowbrook Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by R. Michael Mackowiak III; McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home, 736 Central Ave, Dunkirk, NY.
